Busy week!

Poboy and Daddy had a fun, busy day on Wednesday! They went to Daddy's work, visited some friends, and went shopping at Target. I'll let Daddy tell you all about it later.
Thursday was a good day, we decided to rearrange the living room, which led to us realizing that we had to rearrange the whole house to make more space. Finally today, we finished the furniture moving. Now all that is left is organizing the rooms and all the random stuff we found in each room. I am happy with the new arrangement of the furniture, because it gives us a huge amount of floor space in the living room. This means no more clearing off the bed for tummy time for Poboy. Yay! It also means that we have far fewer surfaces for clutter to collect on. Mega-Yay!
Aunt Nutmeg stopped by for a quick visit Friday night, Poboy slept through most of it, but at least he wasn't crying! Speaking of crying, there he is awake from his nap, so here I go.

Introducing Mr Poboy

This is my son-
Cute huh?
He was born November of 2010- twenty some odd hours of labor and he was born via c-section. 9lbs 13oz. Big boy!
He is now two months old and his father and I are enjoying every second of every day with him. Bwhahahahahaha! I couldn't even type that with a straight face. I love my son, and I love my husband, but at times each of them have made me want to tear my hair out! This is a chronicle of making it through each day alive, sane, and intact. Welcome to our world, I hope I don't bore you to death.

Today has been a good day. We went to Baby Group with a friend and her son who is two weeks older than Poboy. Its such a nice time, we get out of the house and I get to talk to other Grown-Ups. While at BG today a music instructor came in, and she started playing the recorder, it was so strange, all the babies were babbling or fussing until she started playing. Two minutes in, they were all silent and staring toward the sound. It was like the Pied Piper had come into the room! Eerie, very eerie. My little man slept through most of the music lesson, though he did wake up to get a diaper change and then spit up all over me. Fun times. I do not like the spit up, but it is apparently one of the joys of motherhood, so...

Tomorrow is a Daddy-Poboy day, as I have to work. I love my job, but I miss the bajeezuz out of my little boy while I am gone. I am learning slowly but surely how to switch back to grownup conversations about things that are not poopy diapers and breastmilk. Which by the way I can talk for hours about! Anyone want to discuss breastfeeding? No? No-one? Ok, fine. Hows about we dissect the contents of my son's diaper! Also no? Well then I guess I got nothin'!

On that note I will leave you with one last picture. Good Night!

Here it is

So, here I go- joining the millions of blogs out there. I figured its time to start writing about my child on the interwebs. Got to give him a reason for the therapy I'm sure we will be paying for soon enough, I mean he is already two months old! Here he is-
Don't you want to eat those cheeks?
